SUMMARY:Matisse au Grand Palais - Paris
DESCRIPTION:Coup de Coeur: those who have seen this exibition are blown away! \n\n\n\nIn the bright light of his last years\, Matisse invents a new language: that of cut shapes and pure color. More than 300 paintings\, drawings\, books and cut-out gouaches retrace\, between 1941 and 1954\, the journey of an artist free and in perpetual movement. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition Matisse. 1941–1954 sheds light on the last years of Henri Matisse’s career\, between 1941 and 1954\, through more than 300 works\, paintings\, drawings\, cut-outs\, illustrated books\, textiles and stained glass windows\, from the collection of the Centre Pompidou and major international loans. It reveals the multidisciplinary dimension of his practice during this period while bringing together an exceptional set of cut-out gouaches.

SUMMARY:Swan Lake - Dublin
DESCRIPTION:The Santiago Ballet company will perfrom Swan Lake in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMatthew Bourne’s audacious\, rule-breaking reinvention of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece caused a sensation when it premiered almost 30 years ago. It has now become the most successful dance theatre production of all time\, creating new audiences and inspiring generations of young dancers. \n\n\n\nIn celebration of that ongoing impact\, SWAN LAKE will take flight once more in a major new revival for the next generation of dancers\, and for audiences who will experience it for the very first time. \n\n\n\nThrilling\, bold\, witty and emotive\, this genre-defining event is still best known for replacing the female corps-de-ballet with a menacing male ensemble\, which shattered convention\, turning tradition on its head.

SUMMARY:Paper & Palette Society
DESCRIPTION:Have you artistic kids ? \n\n\n\n—— Check out this newly formed society —— \n\n\n\nPaper & Palette Society was born in Paris to give children a space to discover creative expression as a lifelong practice\, through the study of art and art journaling. \n\n\n\nIt is a yearlong Art and full English immersion program every Wednesday\, designed to build each child’s confidence in expressing themselves — out loud and on the page.  Let playful imagination and creativity grow while building the kids’ confidence in speaking and writing in English. Kids learn best when busy creating and having fun.  \n\n\n\nThe program is made for kids age 8-12 with an Anglophone background. Our group is limited to 6-8 kids so that each child gets our full attention.  Each term builds on the other and at the end of the year\, we will hold an Artist Show where each child will get to talk about their art and the process behind the artwork. \n\n\n\nRegistrations are open for the school year 2026-2027 and the autumn term begins on September 16. For more details\, please head on to the website: https://paperpalettesociety.com/ \n\n\n\nClasses are every Wednesday from 2PM-4PM at the Scots Kirk Church (17 rue Bayard\, 75008).  It runs the whole year except during the school holidays.   \n\n\n\nProgram fees are 300 euros per term plus a one-time membership fee of 35 euros. The full year is 825 euros and can be paid in 3 increments of 275 euros at the beginning of each term.   \n\n\n\nhttps://paperpalettesociety.com/about-paper–palette-society

SUMMARY:Cézanne et Nous - Musée d'Orsay Paris
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition aims to present broadly the work of Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) in light of his artistic heritage\, in a constant dialogue\, synthetic and unprecedented. It bears witness to the artist’s unparalleled posterity\, from the moment when\, as a recluse in Aix\, some wonder whether there really exists\, to the “Cezanne myth” of the 20th century\, the founding father of pictorial modernity.
