SUMMARY:Dessins Libres au Musée Rodin
DESCRIPTION:Just an excuse to encourage anybody who has not visited the Musée Rodin\, it is exceptionel! The building and gardens are beautiful and the sulptures fascinating and beautiful. Theya do special family days on certain sundays for those of you who have younger children. I first went as a teenager when on an exchange and a=was just mesmerised! \n\n\n\nConcerning this special Expo\, if Auguste Rodin is universally recognized as a sculptor\, he was also a passionate draftsman. It’s quite simple: my drawings are the key to my work” he confided to the journalist René Benjamin in 1910. Through a selection of nearly 70 drawings exclusively from the museum’s collection\, the exhibition reveals a practice that is constantly reinventing itself\, years of training in bright drawings of maturity. The art of the fragment\, the taste for series\, the visibility of gesture\, and research on colour place Rodin at the forefront of modernity.

SUMMARY:"en Therapie" with Francis Huster
DESCRIPTION:Francis Huster\, a renowned and wonderful French actor\, is now playing at the Théâtre Antoine in a deeply moving and unsetteling role – that of a therapist at the edge of the abyss\, carried away by his patients and his own life. \n\n\n\nWhile he tries to avoid his patients drowning\, his own life is on the verge of falling apart. Each session becomes a mirror of his own flaws\, regrets and his humanity\, while at the same time his patients desperately await his help. \n\n\n\nAdapted from the cult series BeTipul\, In Therapy explores the hidden face of those who confide. Tête-à-tête\, arm-wrestling\, because the material is human and fragile and life’s accidents exacerbate passions that were thought to be forbidden in a therapist’s hushed office. An intense “huis clos”\, carried by a finely written script and a tense “mise en scene” \, where the intimate becomes universal. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nShows from Wednesday through to Sunday

SUMMARY:Le CID à la Comedie Francaise
DESCRIPTION:The emblematic piece of French classical theatre\, ‘Le Cid’! \n\n\n\nThe return of Denis Podalydès to the staging with this mythical play. When the father of Chimène slaps Rodrigue’s father out of jealousy\, a deadly duel ensues. Corneille locks the lovers in an absolute dilemma\, to be discovered. \n\n\n\nRecognised as a genius of litterature\, Corneille was nonetheless accused\, at the first represntation of his play in 1637\, of not respecting the three-unit rule of time\, place and action. \n\n\n\nBenjamin Laverrnhe who amazed us all with his multiple talents when presenting the Césars this year will undoubtedly thrill us playing Don Rodrigue. \n\n\n\nMatinées certain days
