SUMMARY:Cézanne et Nous - Musée d'Orsay Paris
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition aims to present broadly the work of Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) in light of his artistic heritage\, in a constant dialogue\, synthetic and unprecedented. It bears witness to the artist’s unparalleled posterity\, from the moment when\, as a recluse in Aix\, some wonder whether there really exists\, to the “Cezanne myth” of the 20th century\, the founding father of pictorial modernity.

SUMMARY:Transparence
DESCRIPTION:La première exposition du Palais des enfants! \n\n\n\nFor its first exhibition\, the Children’s Palace invites transparency! A fun and sensory journey to enjoy with family\, where artistic works and scientific experiments play with light to awaken the curiosity and wonder of the youngest. \n\n\n\nIn an imaginary universe\, designed to arouse curiosity and have fun\, young and old alike freely walk from a palace of mirrors to a cave with crystalline treasures\, sometimes venturing into a mysterious forest\, sometimes towards a radiant sky or the depths of a multicolored ocean. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nChildren and accompanying persons experiment with the multiple nuances of transparency\, exchange their observations from translucency to darkness\, and marvel at the riches of nature as much as those of know-how throughout a journey punctuated by playful spaces and contemplation. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition continues through an activity book\, a podcast about transparency…

SUMMARY:La Misantrope à la Comedie Francaise
DESCRIPTION:Pushed to their limits by the radicalism of this man\, ready to renounce any form of worldliness\, the characters unveil for a day the contradictions of the human race subjected to “a heart that reason does not know”. They make up a social microcosm that takes place not in the cozy atmosphere of a living room but in an open space\, the landing of a mansion being moved into. The setting is a place in movement\, the metaphor of what must be\, according to the director\, the repertoire “which evolves\, completely in its century\, but nourished by previous centuries and already turned towards the century to come”.“I belong to a repertory theatre and I tell myself that if we don’t take a fresh look at the works\, then this repertory theatre has no place\,” says Clément Hervieu-Léger\, the new general administrator of the Comédie-Française. Created in 2014\, with 197 performances as of the date of this revival\, the show is one of those\, timeless\, which crosses the years with an acuity that age could not alter. \n\n\n\n1665 – the year of writing the “Misanthrope” – was a year of betrayal for Molière: that of Racine\, who gave his tragedy “Alexander the Great” to the troupe of the Hôtel de Bourgogne\, after the failure of its creation by that of Molière at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal. Do autobiographical resonances feed the dark mood of the main character\, Alceste\, who\, to hate one person\, decides to hate the whole world? \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMatinées certain days

SUMMARY:Les Fourberies de Scapin à la Comedie Francaise
DESCRIPTION:With nearly 300 performances since 2017\, these Fourberies de Scapin never cease to delight all generations. The sociétaire Denis Podalydès likes to recall that it is a “troop play\, written not for the Court but for the people”. It was created in 1671 at the Palais-Royal during a period of work. Molière was then freed from the constraints of ballet comedies and machine comedies: it was “pure theater” that gave the director great freedom of action. \n\n\n\nIn a setting evoking the port of Naples\, the city where the play takes place\, Denis Poldalydès unfolds all the elements of this comedy where Molière takes the side of youth. During the absence of their fathers who went on a trip\, Léandre fell in love with Zerbinette while Octave married Hyacinte. But their elders are back\, with the idea of imposing an arranged marriage on their respective sons. \n\n\n\nMatinées certain days

SUMMARY:La Périchole - Opera - Marseille
DESCRIPTION:No successful end of the year without a good Offenbach from behind the fagots! La Périchole is one of Maître Jacques’s grands crus. Fresh\, sparkling and drinkable at will. The opéra bouffe is inspired by a comedy by Mérimée that Jean Renoir brought to the screen with Anna Magnani (Le Carrosse d’or). \n\n\n\nLa Périchole really existed\, she was a famous actress and singer in Lima who was the mistress of the viceroy of Peru. We don’t know if her nickname meant “little wonder” or “native she dog.” It depended on the tone. Hortense Schneider\, known as “Le Passage des princes”\, ensured the success of the work. Then Berganza and Crespin sang in turn “O my dear lover”\, “Ah what a dinner” or “I adore you brigand”. \n\n\n\nYou can be sure that the slaughter of Éléonore Pancrazi\, Marc Barrard and young Kaëlig Boché should make us forget all our worries.

SUMMARY:La Guerre n'est pas le Visage d'une Femme
DESCRIPTION:On stage\, women transformed by war! \n\n\n\nThe Belarusian Svetlana Alexievitch – 2015 Nobel Prize in Literature – collects testimonies of Soviet women fighters during the Second World War. Julie Deliquet\, the new director of the Théâtre National de La Colline\, makes their voices heard in a vibrant chorus that resonates with those of all women from all wars. \n\n\n\nIn the spring of 1975\, in a Soviet communal apartment\, a young journalist collected stories from women throughout the Soviet Union who\, as teenagers\, had taken up arms against Hitler’s army. These words of incredibly powerful women question the condition of those who\, even today\, decide to fight on the front line in armed conflicts. Julie Deliquet composes a theatre of listening where history moves from myth to intimacy through sometimes terrible\, sometimes comical details. In this living memory emerges\, beyond the tragic\, an irreducible joy: that of standing up for freedom.

SUMMARY:Le CID à la Comedie Francaise
DESCRIPTION:The emblematic piece of French classical theatre\, ‘Le Cid’! \n\n\n\nThe return of Denis Podalydès to the staging with this mythical play. When the father of Chimène slaps Rodrigue’s father out of jealousy\, a deadly duel ensues. Corneille locks the lovers in an absolute dilemma\, to be discovered. \n\n\n\nRecognised as a genius of litterature\, Corneille was nonetheless accused\, at the first represntation of his play in 1637\, of not respecting the three-unit rule of time\, place and action. \n\n\n\nBenjamin Laverrnhe who amazed us all with his multiple talents when presenting the Césars this year will undoubtedly thrill us playing Don Rodrigue. \n\n\n\nMatinées certain days
