An avid Uilleann Pipe\, Flute and Tin-Whistle player and teacher\, Mark also makes and crafts Uilleann Pipes. Eamon is an experiened music player and will enchant us with Irish and Greek bouzoukis melodies. This famous Greek instrument with it’s ethereal sound sits very well musically with the Uilleann Pipes and provides chordal accompaniment. \n\n\n\nCome learn\, listen and watch talented musicians perform on famous Irish instruments in the Chapel at the Irish Cultural Centre in Paris. Mark will talk about the history of the Uilleann Pipes\, his music and his instrument making journey as he is a qualified Uilleann Pipes craftsman. \n\n\n\nUilleann Piping has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. DESCRIPTION:For 1.5 hours\, “Paris\, Heart of Lights” will take the audience on a journey through Paris’s history from 1640 to the Revolution\, highlighting the major project of Saint-Sulpice during the Grand Siècle. \n\n\n\nSpectacular light architectures adorn the entire building\, accompanied by immersive surround sound..  \n\n\n\nEach evening\, during the 2 performances\, more than 120 volunteer actors bring the story to life. It’s an acting performance that fits in perfectly with the dialogue recorded by our 30 professional actors and the many changes in the 3D video projections.
