DESCRIPTION:For all ye Mnà Bowie fans!! \n\n\n\nMR8 gallery presents“David Bowie: Mr Jones’ Long Hair\,” an exhibition curated by David Lawrence in collaboration with renowned photographers\, Philippe Auliac\, Michel Haddi\, and Denis O’Regan. The exhibition offers a unique lens on David Bowie—not only as a musician and actor but also as a multifaceted individual shaped by a wide spectrum of cultural influences. \n\n\n\nVisitors will explore the artistic and intellectual forces that played a role in shaping Bowie’s creative universe\, including figures from literature\, music\, and visual art—ranging from Frank Sinatra and Jean Cocteau to Andy Warhol\, Miles Davis\, Salvador Dalí\, and Friedrich Nietzsche. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition features approximately 100 photographs\, including rare and previously unseen images\, accompanied by commentary from Bowie’s half-brother. The experience is enriched by a curated playlist of tracks Bowie admired\, and a behind-the-scenes film by Michel Haddi documenting one of their photo sessions.
