DESCRIPTION:A real plea for social justice\, the work is carried out by a troupe that rediscovers the great tunes of this musical that was conceived like an opera:  \n\n\n\n To better serve Victor Hugo’s masterpiece\, Alain Boublil has corrected\, adapted and modified the libretto\, while Claude-Michel Schönberg has reworked the score. And to magnify this new production in french of Les Misérables\, Ladislas Chollat has chosen a refined staging\, without embellishment\, in order to leave the story it’s place\, the text and its interpretation.  \n\n\n\nThe success has been confirmed\, both with the public and critics\, since Les Misérables have once again obtained new awards\, including a Molière amongst others. Inscribed in the musical heritage\, and because “nothing is more beautiful than to be a prophet in one’s country”\, the work returns on the stage of the Théâtre du Châtelet. To the will of the people!

DESCRIPTION:No successful end of the year without a good Offenbach from behind the fagots! La Périchole is one of Maître Jacques’s grands crus. Fresh\, sparkling and drinkable at will. The opéra bouffe is inspired by a comedy by Mérimée that Jean Renoir brought to the screen with Anna Magnani (Le Carrosse d’or). \n\n\n\nLa Périchole really existed\, she was a famous actress and singer in Lima who was the mistress of the viceroy of Peru. We don’t know if her nickname meant “little wonder” or “native she dog.” It depended on the tone. Hortense Schneider\, known as “Le Passage des princes”\, ensured the success of the work. Then Berganza and Crespin sang in turn “O my dear lover”\, “Ah what a dinner” or “I adore you brigand”. \n\n\n\nYou can be sure that the slaughter of Éléonore Pancrazi\, Marc Barrard and young Kaëlig Boché should make us forget all our worries.
