DESCRIPTION:Keen to play your part in climate change and following on from Mary Robinson’s visit in April\, we’ll gather\, talk and share our thoughts\, actions and ideas to support COP30 and the Global Ethical Stocktake (GES) initiative. \n\n\n\n\n\nGES is an initiative inviting participants all over the world to hold informal meetings\, to reflect and discuss on the values\, behaviours\, and responsibilities that need to be transformed so that the commitments made at the UN Climate Conferences become a reality. \n\n\n\nIn this meeting\, we’ll discuss preselected questions steming from the GES guidance. You can choose 2 questions from the list of 5 when you register to attend the workshop. These 5 guided questions from the GES hope to broaden listening and reflection on the moral dilemmas of our era and explore where we stand and how to build a fairer\, safer future. The goal of our meeting is to create feedback after our discussion and send it to the organisers of GES. All feedback will contribute to findings shared from all countries participating in this initiative ahead of the United Nations Climate Conference (COP30) to be held November 10–21\, 2025 in Belém\, Brazil.

She was also a finalist in the Irish Freemasons Young Musician of the Year. As a composer\, Laoise has had works commissioned by the National Gallery of Ireland and Matheson LLP. \n\n\n\n3pm\, 4pm and 5pm (20 mins each) \n\n\n\nFeis Ceoil\, renowned in Ireland\, Feis Ceoil for its classical music festival that presents the best of young Irish musical talent. Her style is characterized by exceptional technical mastery and an ability to infuse each track with a lively energy\, combining limpid melodies with bold variations. \n\n\n\nMicky Fearon\, singer and guitarist from County Armagh\, Ireland\, grew up in a family deeply rooted in traditional Irish music. He invites you to discover the techniques of accompanying on guitar or bouzouki\, inspired by traditional songs from Micky’s native region. \n\n\n\nSinéad and Micky will each lead a parallel masterclass lasting a total of 3 hours\, divided into two 90-minute workshops with a break in between. The exhibition offers a unique lens on David Bowie—not only as a musician and actor but also as a multifaceted individual shaped by a wide spectrum of cultural influences. \n\n\n\nVisitors will explore the artistic and intellectual forces that played a role in shaping Bowie’s creative universe\, including figures from literature\, music\, and visual art—ranging from Frank Sinatra and Jean Cocteau to Andy Warhol\, Miles Davis\, Salvador Dalí\, and Friedrich Nietzsche. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition features approximately 100 photographs\, including rare and previously unseen images\, accompanied by commentary from Bowie’s half-brother. Deeply defined by her Libyan roots\, singer-songwriter Farah Elle will share with us her very own songs for piano as well as intimate selections from her debut album\, Fatima (2022). Her music enchantingly weaves together pop\, touches of R’n’B and jazz and Middle Eastern music. And\, Stephen James Smith will recite his critically acclaimed poems including some written during his stay in Paris.
