Description
Musicians Mark Blackwell and Eamonn Keany, from Dunboyne County Meath, will perform in the Chapel of the Irish Cultural Centre on Friday 4th October 2024 at 7pm.
Mark will play on the iconic Irish Uilleann Pipes as well as the Flute and Tin-Whistle. Eamon will play on a Greek and Irish Bouzoukis.
Mark will talk about the history of the Uilleann Pipes, his music and his instrument making journey as he is a qualified Uilleann Pipes craftsman.
Uilleann Piping has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Drinks & Canapés will follow their enchanting performance.
