Margaret O’Sullivan

From Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare, Margaret now lives in central Paris which she loves.
She moved to France in the 80’s and has lived in several European countries since then. She worked for the European Space Agency for over 30 years and loved working in an international environment. Mixing, socialising and working with different cultures is a very enriching experience. She also travelled a lot with her work mostly in Europe and was very fortunate to attend the launch of the Cheops Satellite in Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana (South America).
Margaret joined Mná na hÉireann in the early stages and has loved getting involved in the Irish circle in Paris and meeting new people. It’s a fun filled group of great Irish women from all horizons and the events and get-togethers are not to be missed.
Margaret recently retired and spends her time between Paris and the countryside where her French partner has a country house with a very large garden. So now she enjoys gardening (a new found passion), learning Irish, discovering new restaurants in and around Paris, reading and walking.
