Imbolg : Enter the Light! Saint Brigid celebration

To honor Saint Brigid and celebrate “Imbolg”, the traditional beginning of spring in the Celtic calendar, when pagan festival marks the return of light, the awakening of nature, and as such is a symbol of renewal.
The highlight of the evening: artist Tom Meskell, currently in residence, will present his light installation “Silva Lumina”, commissioned by First Fortnight – Mental Health, Arts & Culture Festival. At nightfall, from January 29 to February 14, the CCI courtyard will be transformed into an enchanting garden, populated by creatures in human and plant form, and enhanced by a soundtrack composed by Colm O Snodaigh and Brian Hogan, both members of the famous traditional world band Kíla.
Come and wander through this sculpture-lit forest, embodying the hope and community spirit so dear to the festival!
