Castle dating back to the 18th century in 2km of Saumur and the Loire is river is 200m in front of Castle. Recognised for its beautiful architecture, this château is listed as a “Monument Historique”.
With its refined atmosphere, you will enjoy a warm and considerate welcome. In the park, we offer a lovely gîte of 90 m², composed of two rooms, fitted out in the old stables of the castle.
The Château stands just 200 meters from the banks of the River Loire, and is only 2 km from the lovely old town of Saumur. From here, you can easily visit the famous treasures of the Loire Valley: the Château of Saumur, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, the French National School of Equitation, the famous Cadre Noir, the troglodytic cave dwellings, and the wonderful towns of Angers, Chinon, Tours, the many chateaux along the Loire, and world-renowned vineyards. Saumur, the “Pearl of Anjou”, and the Loire Valley were designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 2000.
