Photography captures moments, images, landscapes, memories and so much more! Through the power of visual expression, photographs serve as a way to communicate and express without words. They capture the beauty of nature, the diversity of emotions, the happiness and sadness of a moment.
I am an ambitious, driven, enthusiastic and highly qualified photographer with demonstrable experience across a multitude of disciplines.
Prior to venturing out as a freelancer, my aptitude for research and enthusiasm for all things photographic allowed me to work with abroad spectrum of brands and companies, taking instruction and following assignments to the letter.
My collaborative approach to photographic assignments has provided me with experience working on projects ranging from photojournalism through live theatrical performances to product photography for international consumer brands. I am also a noted portrait photographer and am also very gifted at photographing social gatherings. My work has appeared in Le Figaro and Readers Digest. I have taken authors’ photographs for Faber and Faber, my portrait subjects include leading writers, actors and musicians, and I have done event photography for the London Symphony Orchestra.
I always knew I had a fascination with the visual arts, whether it was through various exhibitions, films and going to theatre. Seeing the array of striking images in those mediums has been informative in my life as an artist. In the last few years, my priority as an artist has been to explore the relationship between the subject and their environment.
My most recent exploration has been portrait photography, and the use of natural light. I believe the role of light in photography plays a vital role in the making of an image.
