A unique Masterclass lined up for an evening of learning and entertainment thanks to the Association Irlandaise de Paris.
Immerse yourself in the musical world of Sinéad McKenna, a fiddler from County Tyrone, Ireland. She recently made her mark on the traditional music scene with her debut album, “Faoi Lán Ceoil”, released in March 2024. Her style is characterized by exceptional technical mastery and an ability to infuse each track with a lively energy, combining limpid melodies with bold variations.
Micky Fearon, singer and guitarist from County Armagh, Ireland, grew up in a family deeply rooted in traditional Irish music. He invites you to discover the techniques of accompanying on guitar or bouzouki, inspired by traditional songs from Micky’s native region.
Sinéad and Micky will each lead a parallel masterclass lasting a total of 3 hours, divided into two 90-minute workshops with a break in between. Designed for intermediate to advanced melodists, and are open to all instruments. Singers (all levels accepted), are welcome as well as accompanists (guitar, bouzouki) of intermediate to advanced level.
